Since ancient times and up to the present day, Zavidovo has been situated along the main road connecting Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Great figures like Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov, and other famous people traveled this old route.

In November 1851, Zavidovo welcomed its first train. In October 2015, high-speed Lastochka trains began to stop at Zavidovo, and by July 2019, it became possible to travel to Zavidovo from Moscow via a tall road in just over an hour.

The short travel time and convenient transportation have contributed to the popularity of Zavidovo resort.
